Most of last week was spent focused on what Alex can or more truthfully what Alex cannot hear. Tuesday he had a sedated ABR test and the initial reading made it appear that he had a progressive sensorineural hearing loss. This would be bad news. But thankfully after further intepretation of the test it showed that while his conductive loss has gotten worse the sensorineural loss has stayed about the same. So we are moving forward with his BAHA procedure on July 20. That is a short paragraph that doesn't quite explain all of the drama but that's the start & the end so I'll leave it at that.
I'm glad to hear that you ended up getting some positive news. I hope the BAHA procedure provides better hearing for Alex. I bet that little man will progress by leaps and bounds once he can hear better!!! :-)
